This is no ordinary personal trainer training session. In fact it's not a personal trainer training session at all. At Area 5 Fitness in Tameside, Manchester, there is no time to waste. We are not your usual private gym. We are not a boxing centre. We’re not even personal trainers. But by using Muhammad Ali boxing techniques, Mayweather boxing style, speed pads, kettlebells and intensive whole body exercises, we are everything you need to get in the best shape of your life. Area 5 Fitness in Manchester is not a gym. It’s not a personal training thing, we're not here to make friends. Our way of training is definitely not easy and not for everyone. But it is the best way to get yourself feeling and looking ultimate fit without all the bullsh*t.

Personal Training shouldn’t be one dimensional. Too many people just end up stuck on treadmills. This leads to one dimensional results. Area 5 was founded because of the lack of space and poor atmosphere in gyms. At Area 5 Fitness in Manchester there are no frills, no machines and no cheating. It’s just you and your body. It’s one-to-one VIP experience, and Area 5 belongs to you. We get people fit, fast, and take great pleasure in seeing the transformation in their bodies AND their confidence. Area 5 Fitness was created to rebel. It’s a rebellion against repetitive gyms with corporate mind sets and useless personal training programmes. It’s about getting fit, fast. There is no easing in and no easing out. And it’s definitely not for everyone.

 

 

CEO Ryan Herbert

Ryan worked in a factory in Tameside for over ten years before he took up gym instructing as a way to earn some extra income. But suddenly, he was enjoying work. He threw himself into the fitness world, and put himself through a number of personal training courses, throwing any bit of spare money he had to fund his training. But the more he spent in a gym, the more he hated it. The same faceless corporations with the same attitude all based around getting new members not retaining them, same old sh*t. With no respect for getting a good workout, the frustration led Ryan to set us his own private gym in Manchester, with no contracts and no commitments

Now with over ten years experience and Area 5 Fitness being established for over six years. The place speaks for itself.

The 5 Pillars

Speed
Build up your speed with explosive resistance exercises to get your muscles firing.

Strength
Whole body exercises will utilise every part of your body to help develop your strength and central nervous system.

Endurance
You'll be pushed and pulled to your threshold limit. The more you train at this limit the more your threshold limit goes up.

Accelaration
Aggressively moving an object or punch from one point to another as fast as humanly possible. 

Progression
The same sh*t workout equals the same sh*t results. No single session is the same at Area 5, and each session will shock your system as well as ours because if you're getting bored so are we.
